This last week we have had rainy weather,it rained in Ketchikan and Juneau,so did not walk around for too long and was back in our cozy cabin after a quick walkabout.a warm bed and a nice book was the better option
In Skagway i took hubby to the creek to show him the salmon and had to laugh at him for he took of his shoes and tried to catch fish with his bare hands but bare feet on the river stones in icy cold water did not go well,took a video as proof of his fishing expedition in Alaska but said ,think he must rather keep his day job,haaa haha

Die volgende 2 dae het ons Glacier Bay en Hubbards Glacier besoek ,so net op die see gewees Die skip se geskuur teen die ysberge in die water nou nie vir my snaaks nie en maar te bly as ons dit agter laat.Wat wel vir my ongelooflik is is die wete dat die landskap in die area onbewoon is en dit net die natuur is ,geen  mense ongerep,prentjie mooi Later die dag is ek na n koek demonstrasie wat eintlik heel oulik was en fun met n mannetjie wat n black forrest koek gemaak het met baie baie drank! Soos hy se nie vir mense onder 18 nie!! 3 mense het deelgeneem,n regte chef,n gas en dan die snaakse mannetjie!! Hulle doen darem baie moeite vir die gaste More is ons in Seward een van my spesiale plekke,dis die verste wat ons opgaan in Alaska en net beautiful💕

1/2 Augustes 2017 @ Sea en Ketchikan

 When we arrived in Ketchikan we were lucky to have blue skies and no rain,a beautiful day.I landed up at the creek sitting on a log watching 2 beautiful eagles sitting in the trees checking out the salmon in the river below.Times like this that i wish i had the huge lenses to take close ups.A lot more salmon   Coming upstream than last week and just cant get enough,amazing to be able to see this wonderful happening of nature,missed it on our other travels to this part of the world
