Arrived here early morning and only leaving tonight so lots of time to walk about
On my way into town i was lucky enough to see 2 salmon swimming up the small creek so the run has started and will hopefully pick up as the weeks go by
Made my way to the library and got stuck there for a while!!
Left the ship whithout my ipad so was not impressed with myself

4 September Seward -- 11 Sept Vancouver: Well ,we are nearing the end of our Alaska trip,and i am so thankfull to say that i at last have seen a mama bear and her cub in the wild! On our stop to Hubbards Glacier we had just turned around to leave and there right next to the water out popped the big grizzly bear and her little one,she was not taking her time so it was just a quick glimps as she came down to the waters edge and then back into the bush,did not have time to take a pic but was just so special to see The weather is changing and the real Alaska weather has arrived,raining daily and have not seen much sun.Not very pleasant to walk around in the rain so just pop out to do what i have to and make my last rounds We are in Vancouver today for our last week in Alaska.Have had a wonderful time and Alaska will always be one of the special places we could visit So until next time,bye and God Bless

Lyk my besig om verlore slaap in te haal en slaap dat dit bars,dis sommer middag en aand en dan is ek nog bewusteloos ook nog! Besluit om vandag in Juneau n draai te maak by Tracys Crab Shack vir ons 1x maand bederf van heerlike sop,crab koekies en 1 been elk!!! En natuurlik hulle local bier Die shack nou in nuwe plek wat eintlik baie beter werk en warm is,so omtrent ons in n gal aanval ingeeet maar heerlik,beslis n moet as mens hierheen kom Ons skip is die verste van die dorp gedok wat dalk ook n goeie ding is so weer n goeie ent se stap ingekry oppad terug skip toe Oppad terug ook verby locals waar hulle besig was om die halibut skoon te maak en te verpak
