Arrived in Vancouver with lots of intresting humbs and bumbs but i made it !!
Thankful for a safe trip.
My first snag was my suitcase that was 2 kg to heavy 25 and not 23kg so the implications of that was to cut my suitcase wrapping and unpack everthing on the floor or pay R1500 for the 2 kg,needless to say i did the cut and unpack thing!!!
So the access was stuffed in my hand luggage and i got the greenlight with a 23.5 kg
Little did i know there was more to come!!
When going on board in JHB for my flight to Heathrow i was stopped while boarding because my visa had a black line on it and the date i first entered the country last year with my first visit with my new visa,a black line and date that the immigration guys put there themselves????
The official felt in meant it is cancelled😳 And after trying to explain i did nog get anywhere,then 2 more officials arrived and a guy from the embassy,by this time i am trying to stay calm and know i am the last to board the plane and they are waiting for the last passenger ,who is me!!! Praat van n stress kat,thinking what will my hubby say if wify does not arrive or am i not meant to be on this flight ,then threre must be a reason
Sitting there PRAYING while i wait to here the verdict!! Then thank the Lord i here you are clear to go and board your flight
Apologies for the inconvenience fall on deaf ears and off i go,omgekrap,gesweet,reg vir huil en dankbaarheid,so n deurmekaar spul en nog kwaad ,ergste hulle doen seker ook maar net hul werk💕
In my oor pak op die lughawe beland n marmite bottel vir n kollega van liefie in die handbagasie en Dit is natuurlik asdrom toe by customs!! so moes van hom afskeid neem,volgende keer sal ek beter moet beplan,hee heee ,hou by die reels,sou nogal dink n gryskop ken al die reels🙈
Arrived safely in beautiful Vancouver having a bath and that nice bed after all the flying and waiting made me feel like a queen and today i join hubby for our 2 months in Alaska👏
